Market in Jodhpur

The city of Jodhpur is a jumble of medieval houses and a maze of winding paths. In the center of all this sits the fortress palace perched on top of a central mount dominating the skyline.

My camel driver and I on camel trek, Jaisalmer

I'm surprised that camels have a reputation for being mean; mine was friendly and he seemed to sport a little smile. Riding takes a bit getting used to though; your bottom gets really sore by the end of the day and on some of the rougher terrain you're holding onto the saddle for dear life to keep from slipping off.
